Subject: reference ranges
Do your ward based blood gas analysers print out a reference range with the
patient results?
Do you have reference range data 'attached' to the analyser?

Yes. They are not age related and therefore gas tensions in particular
have little relevance in neonatal and delivery ward situations. They also do
not apply to ventilated patients however they provide a clinically valuable
assesment of acid base, electrolyte and glycemic status.
