Helen,
In our experience, with HPLC and electrochemical detection, patients on
Aldomet (methyldopa) do not normally show a raised dopamine. However, we do
see an increasing number of slightly raised urinary dopamines that as far as
we can tell are not associated with a phaeochromocytoma.

dopa, is that the source?. The Anaesthetist wishes to outrule a
phaechromocytoma, as they wish to section. Any experts in this line
please?
