I remember this test from a long (don't say antedeluvian) time ago. I don't
know if anybody still measures it, details may be available in some of the
older issues of Varley or Henry
However there has been a lot of work done recently on the genetic study of
acetylator status. This group in Bristol are looking into it, albeit in the
field of Alzheimer's reserach.
