Greetings, Y'all.
I have a renal doctor who is asking questions about creatinine, which I
cannot answer off the top of my head. Perhaps someone on the list would
have some information, and/or references.
Does plasma creatinine change/rise after death? Will a crush injury or
rhabdomyolisis cause a rise in plasma creatinine? Are there any
references available for a doubling time for plasma creatinine with
renal failure, other than that creatinine doubles with a 50% decrease in
GFR?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
Regards,
Patti Jones
