Following last years successful pilot study day I would like to inform list
members that the Medical Devices Agency (MDA) is holding a series of half
day seminars aimed at raising the awareness of MDA amongst laboratory
staff.
Each seminar will provide delegates with a good understanding of:
· The basic structure and function of MDA divisions.
· The role of the adverse incident centre and how an incident is
processed.
· The function of IVD Medical Device Specialists.
· The regulation of IVDs in the context of the European IVD Directive
and how it may affect laboratories use of IVDs.
