An anaesthetic colleague is interested in studying the enzyme blocking
properties of Naringin, a flavonoid compound found in grapefruit which
accounts for the bitter flavor but also has cytochrome p450 inhibitory
effects (the extent of my knowledge exhausted!). As part of a study protocol
he is interested in looking at serum levels (assuming this is valid). Is
anyone aware of any individual / department with an interest in this
compound that might be prepared to offer such measurements?
No entry in AssayFinder!
Thanks
