If it is of interest, there was an article last year, where the authors came up with a new formula which gives much closer agreement with 51Cr EDTA clearance.
They state that enzymatic creatinine gave more reliable results to Jaffe.
Interestingly also, they state in their abstract " A measure of creatine kinase significantly improved the estimation of GFR".
Unfortunately, our Oncologist "borrowed" my copy, so I can't give the formula 'til I get it back, but the reference is:
