Dear Anne,
the best person to ask is David Holt at St George's (i think in
Pharmacology). I am not sure whether he is on this forum, but I agree there
is no point in requesting a result if they are taking a further sample
before seeing the original result, unless there is a good reason for it.
The reference range has been well worked for transplant but not really for
other uses.
