Dear All,
We are using the Bayer 654 analyser to measure serum
Lithium. Our last external QC result was low. We now
find that the machine precision is so bad or in
another word when we measure a sample or any QC
materials we found that the result start dropping down
e.g first result 0.46 the second 0.40, 0.38, 0.35,
0.30, 0.25 mmol/L. We replaced the electrodes, pump,
sample probe, draining line etc.. and machine seemed
calibrated well.
Any one got an idea what the possibility will be, my
self I have never experienced this before. The only
one thing we did not checked is CAL-Pack.
Many thanks for your suggestion
Mohmed Ashmaig
