hi
We recently started using Blackboard (5.5). The issue of content repository
and management has arisen. We need a searchable, standards compliant
repository where we can catalog and store grains of information from a
variety of sources for building lesson plans in the vle so that we can have
a scalable and sustainable system, which doesnt require constant rebuilding.
A Blackboard trainer told us we might need to buy an additional content
management system.
Do know if this is a particular shortcoming of Blackboard, or due all
current vles operate like this?
Are there better vle's for this?
or
Is there a compliant compatible cms for Blackboard?
also
What system is used in the rdn?
I would be grateful for your experiences and advice in this matter
thanks very much
