There is a useful piece on Dleuze, Levinas and "The Face" in The 1998
issue of Annales de l'institute de philosophie de l'universite de
Bruxelles dedicated to Deleuze. It's entitled "Sur faces. Position du
visage chez Levinas st Deleuze" by Daniel Franco.
Also check out Jacques Derrida's gloss on the face in Levinas in the
essay "Violence and Metaphysics."
