Olympus UK, give information with their direct HDL assay as to the level of
triglyceride which will interfere with the assay, I assume your supplier
would have similar information.
In practice we take the triglyceride "dilution " level as the cut off point,
which for our assay is 11.6mmol/l, this is well within the Olympus
guidelines but makes it easy for validation of the results.
