medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I happened on the ruins of Marmoutier recently, and didn't see any 11th
century structure; only a rather later structure now a boy' school and lots
of "huge" ruins out back; they were very interesting and seemed to be in a
state of ongoing reconstruction though without a lot of activity. Anyone
know anything about this?

ly there are others present who know more about these subterranean matters
than i.
