medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
David Gollaher's book _Circumcision_ from last year is an intelligent
overview of the subject, with sections devoted to the practice and its
reputation in the ancient world, and the change in regard for it by
Jews, Romans, and early Christians. His endnotes are valuable too.
