The Victoria & Albert Museum is hosting a small but interesting exhibit
on maps by Susan Stockwell. She uses 'stitched up' commodities
(literally & metaphorically) to create maps. Thus South America is made
from used coffee filter papers and the United Kingdom is formed from old
tea bags! Well worth a visit on the way to the RGS (and it's right
outside the cafe), but you'll have to be quick as it closes on 31st
October. I have a copy of the accompanying leaflet if anyone wants more
information.
Best wishes
Evelyn
