HEALTH ECONOMICS RESEARCHER
Salary: RS1A £16,775 - £25,213
Applications are sought for a new health economics research post within
the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit (NPEU), University of Oxford.
It is envisaged that the postholder will work on four recently-funded
studies, including two economic evaluations of perinatal interventions
and two observational studies with economic components, working closely
with the Unit Health Economist. In addition, the postholder will be
encouraged to contribute to the wider internal and external activities
of the NPEU.
The successful applicant will have a postgraduate qualification in
health economics and some experience of managing health economics
projects. However, candidates who have recently completed or about to
complete their postgraduate studies in health economics and who wish to
embark on a research career will also be considered. The post will be
for three years in the first instance and is available immediately.
