I haven't been following this thread (distracted by events in in my
hometown), so I'm not quite sure what you are looking for -- it seems
to be work dealing with clergy writing poetry, but I don't know what
time range.
I've done some work on the relation of troubadours and clerics, and a
brief scan of my notes pulls the following, which might be of use if
you are interested in the 12th c.
John Baldwin, "The Image of the Jongleur in Northern France around
1200," Speculum 72 (1997) [to which I believe Jessalyn is referring]
Sociétés, Civilisations 34, no. 5 (1979)
Froidmont, Bertran de Born, and the Cistercian General Chapter of
1199," Speculum 55 (1980) [which was already offerred by Orfried I
think]
I briefly address the topic in my book, but it is not coming out
until November (and my comments are brief). Whoever originally
posted can contact me off list if s/he thinks I might be of any
service,
Cheers,
Nicole
