medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Colleagues:
One of my confreres, a calligrapher, has asked me to locate for him an
edition or translation of a manuscript from Berne, with the number 110. The
text compares the Christian and monastic life with the formation of letters
by a monk scribe. This is all the information he can give concerning the
text.It supposedly was translated by a fine American calligrapher, the Rev.
Edward Catich, but doesn't appear in the reference given.
Any leads or help would be appreciated.
Thomas Sullivan, OSB
