I am currently investigating the different ways that library services are
delivered apart from through traditional service points following our
Library service Best Value Review. I am interested in initiatives such as
Suffolk's library links with access points in local shops, use of shared
premises with schools, doctor's surgeries etc. If members have any such
delivery options that they are willing to share I would be most grateful.
As part of this process I am also looking at mobile provision & trailer
libraries, particularly whether a computerised issue or other ICT services
are available, whether they are one person operated and if local guidelines/
criteria exist that determine provision in terms of length of stop, distance
apart etc.
Many thanks
