This can be someone who has just completed a MSc and does not need to have
significant OS experience. I have attached the TOR. We are offering this
as a research possibility with an opportunity to work at high level in
international development for the UN. We are offering about £80/90 per day
for 66 days
Terms Of Reference
DHSW Assistant
Location : DHSW / Prishtina
Working Hours: 8.30 am - 5.30pm, with 1 hour lunch break, and other
hours as required. Flexibility
will be expected.
Responsible to: Working to the DHSW Advisor and accountable to the
Project Office Manager
Responsible for: na
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* To support the daily activities of the DHSW Advisor and
provide verbal interpretation and translation as required.
* To provide overall secretarial support (preparing cover
letters, faxes, memos) and administrative support.
* To act as translator in meetings between DHSW and local
partners, and in all other meetings where English is not the common
language.
* To record the minutes of meetings as requested and
prepare/collect background documentation for use during meetings and
workshops.
* To work with any other DHSW/IHSD/DFID staff and co-operate
where possible with any other Health Management professional who is working
with them.
* To ensure the confidentiality of DFID/IHSD operations and
not to discuss project matters with non-project staff.
* To be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances as
the project develops.
* To perform additional duties as requested by the Office
Manager or expatriate staff.
You are required by IHSD to understand our charter and to follow the
guidelines of IHSD. Failure to fulfil these duties could result in
disciplinary measures taken against the employee.
