Tinho [et al.]:
OSS = Office of Strategic Services (so, now you can catalogue the item more
fully!).
We (and, doubtless, a few other map libraries) have, in addition to the OSS
map, the following:-
Experimental map of linguistic groups in the Congo / Research Dept, Foreign
Office. - Scale 300 miles = 65 mm ; or [ca 1:7 350 000]. - [London :]
Foreign Ofice, June 1961. - 1 map : col. ; 29 x 29 cm. - "Based on 'The
Bantu Languages of Africa' (International African Institute) and 'Carte des
Populations de l'Afrique Noire' (Documentation Francaise)"
And other more 'ethno' than linguistic maps, if informarion is wanted?
