Please pass this message on to low paid BSA members / postgrad
students without funding who could benefit from an award.
BRITISH SOCIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION SUPPORT FUND
This fund provides awards of up to £150 for unwaged or low paid
BSA members living in the UK. Postgraduate students who have no
research grants and / or have low paid part-time work are therefore
eligible.
The majority of funds have been awarded for thesis binding,
research and /or fieldwork, and attendance at BSA conferences or
BSA study group events.
Applications involve completing a short form and attaching a letter of
support from a supervisor or other suitable referee.
