medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
The Apocalypse might be a good starting place. It's
also possible that it's the other way round - the
Heavenly Jerusalem is represented as a church on
numerous capitals, etc. I can't be of any use with
texts as I'm away from my "library" for the summer. As
for Suger and his "excuses" for the construction of
Saint-Denis, see Lindy Grant's book, _Abbot Suger..._
