I'm also of the opinion that this interesting debate should continue. As for
the physics, I don't understand a word of it. But the methodological, even
sociological, aspects of the process by which the theoretical status quo is
attacked and defended are interesting and, I suggest, important to all of
us. We all ought to be aware of why we believe what we do believe, otherwise
science will never progress.

As part of the silent audience, I'd like to see a continuation of the
scientific argument: I have found the point/counterpoint style of
discussion, and the numerical trials, both informative and
entertaining. If the personal issues can be kept out of the
discussion, I have the impression there is a chance of resolving
something useful here.
I think that the volume of traffic is modest compared to many lists.
