Here in Southend we've always hired sets of books in Indic languages to
satisfy local needs, exchanging the collections once every six months.
We've used the same supplier for years, but we now think it's time to
investigate what alternatives there are.
I'd be interested to know what suppliers other authorities use for exchange
collections, or whether they've found other ways of meeting this need.
Demand in Southend appears to be quite low (mainly for books in Urdu), but
maybe that's because the selection hasn't been what people have wanted.
I'd be grateful for any thoughts and advice you can offer me - I'll
summarise for the list as appropriate.
Best wishes
