Sheffield Evidence Appraisals From ShEBaNg (ShEAFS) are the
products of monthly critical appraisal sessions attended by
members of Sheffield health organisations (as part of the Sheffield
Evidence Based Networking Group - ShEBaNG). An article around
an identified topic of local importance, coupled with important
methodological learning needs proposed by Network members, is
appraised using a critical appraisal checklist. Particular attention is
focused on issues of local applicability.
All critical appraisal sessions are facilitated by ScHARR and the
resulting products are two-page bulletins called ShEAFS, written up
from notes and ratified by the Network members.
