There are many St. Johns in the Roman Martyrology, quite a few with
connections to Jerusalem. The White Cross on black background (the common
symbol of the Venerable Order of St. John) represents St. John the Baptist.
I would certainly like to see more discussion of the Orders of Chivalry,
I've always been interested. Our parish church - Our Lady of Walsingham -
is also a Chapel for the St. John Fellowship here in Houston, so I have a
keen interest in all things pertaining to the White Cross.
