I am the Course Organiser for the MSc in Health Promotion Sciences at the =
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The course is multidiscipli=
nary and brings together theoretical, evidential and policy approaches to =
public health issues.=20
During the months of July and August our students are required write a =
Health Policy Report of the kind a consultant might produce (7,000 words =
maximum). The aim of the report is for the students to demonstrate their =
ability to provide evidence-based policy advice on a topic of their choice =
*(see below for some examples from previous years). Past experience has =
shown that students prefer to work on a real rather than a contrived =
question, hence this email. =20
I am writing to ask if you have a policy question that one of our students =
could explore. The question should be specific and one that can be =
investigated mainly by examining the literature, although some primary =
data collection can be undertaken if necessary. Should anyone have any =
relevant research and can offer a project on which a student can work =
independently I would be grateful if you could contact me directly at =
