medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I dont know of any miracles either, and the only vita bit that I've come
across is the one by Gregory of Tours. He deserves to be honoured as a
saint, if for nothing else because unlike practically everyone else (not
excluding Greg. I), he recommended persuasion, not force, to get the
rustici to conform to Christian ideals. He also compiled the Canones ex
orientalium patrum synodis (the Canones Martini), which had a great impact
on early medieval canon law.
