Intermediate management skills
A two day Library Association workshop on 19 & 20 June, in London
This two-day practical workshop covers the main areas of management relevant
to library and information work, with emphasis on managing the work of
others.
By the end of the event participants will have:
* identified their strengths for team work and leadership and explored
the fundamentals of group and team dynamics
* enhanced their practical management skills - conflict management,
interpersonal skills
* shared ideas and experiences with others at a similar level
All sessions require a high level of involvement and participation.
Participants will be asked to complete a questionnaire and to bring it with
them to the workshop.
Who will benefit from attending?
Those with at least four years of post-qualification experience who are in a
