Sorry to have to correct you Jim (you are usually better informed)
The Cistercian Abbey in Soroe in Denmark has never been a cathedral. A
cathedral is the main church of a diocese, and Soroe was part of the
diocese of Roskilde, where the bishop lived and the cathedral (still)
stands.
