Apologies for cross-posting, but I thought I'd take advantage of two
learned lists with one e-mail.
I recently came across a reference (below) to a woman joining the
sisters of the Templars and I was wondering if anyone knows more
about such a sisterhood or knows of any work done on women and the
Templars. She seems to have gone a few steps beyond simply joining a
confraternity, but any works exploring the role of women in Templar
confraternities, confessions, or "misdeeds" after their dissolution
would also be much appreciated.

confusion with Stephanus
