Laura: According to my little Cappelli, Easter fell on April 7 in 1303. Ash
Wednesday was on February 20 and the Annunciation fell on Monday after
Passion Sunday, therefore in Lent, I would say. In 1305 Easter fell on April
18, Ash Wednesday was on March 3 and the Annunciation fell on Thursday after
the third Sunday in Lent - again, the Annunciation seems to have fallen in
Lent.
