medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Wasn't someone looking for St Urbanus? Did you ever find him? I noticed that the Bollandists include a Translatio et Miracula for Urban, Pope and martyr (May 25 feast): in 862 monks from Autun come to Rome to request his bones, which are then taken back "ad Catalaunenses translatum" . The source is noted as "Ms Abbatiae S. Urbani dioec. Catalaun." I didn't have time to get more info, but maybe this is a start for whomever was looking...
(There is also an Urban of Constantinople, martyred by Valens.)
