I am forwarding the following on behalf of my colleague, Fiona Matthews,
from the English Heritage's Enquiry & Information Services. It may be
interest to others (and jog the memory of those who visited us at last
year's BCS/MCG).

I am unsure if you wish to commission new photography or purchase copies of
existing material. Geonex are now part of the National Remote Sensing Centre
Ltd. (Tel 01252 362000). Other sources of recent photography will include
Aerofilms Ltd, Getmapping.com, the Ordnance Survey, Local Authorities and
Cambridge University.
A list of aerial photograph archives can be found in the NAPLIB directory
(contact [log in to unmask]).
Or you can contact us at the National Monuments Record, English Heritage.
Although our collection is mainly historical, it covers most of England in
aerial photographs. We hold the old RAF photographs dating back to the
1940s, the old Ordnance Survey cover, photography taken by Meridian Airmaps
Ltd as well as many photographs taken by ourselves and other sources.
