Obviously, when a new term is added, software will have to be updated.
There's no way to know for sure which of these choices is better. However,
both my and Dan's experience shows that a system without namespaces will
likely be easier for implementors.
However, it's not like this course of action will prevent us from changing
in the future. We can always change the namespace and suffer the
consequences that we would have gotten from choosing a versioned system in
the first place.
Yet, the important thing is just to decide something as soon as possible.
That way we can get on with our work and get past this (rather trivial)
decision.
