I would like some advice.
I have been asked to 'evaluate' our map collection at Cheltenham with a view
to relocation to a smaller map library space. The management think that
paper maps can be replaced with digital maps and would like to do this for
the modern part of the collection. I would be interested to hear your views
on how far digital maps can replace paper maps and what you feel the
short-comings would be.
These people have no sense of history!
Thanks in advance for any feedback,
Kathryn
