Sue
At the risk of offending the self-appointed e-mail police ....
I hadn't seen or received any advertising material for this book and a quick
search for Ramsay, J. on Amazon only turned up the book at number 26 in the
list of 33 results (it was out of stock so someone must have heard of it).
Obviously many academic text book publishers feel that we should just 'know'
when their books appear. This is quite a contrast to the excellent efforts
of the Geol. Soc. to advertise their Special Publications. Good use could be
made of the Geo-tectonics list to publicise/recommend books that list
members have found useful.
