Having been in the '94 NOrthridge quake in los Angeles,(3 miles from
epicenter), Chrysostom has a VERY good point. And everybody does repent.
Church was filled to the brink the Sunday after the quake (I, being ever
righteous, went to church every sunday anyway). But...it was more like 3
months than 3 weeks before everybody forgot how scary the quake was. ATMs
were up the next day.
Earthquakes can definately scare one to repent...
