CYSTIC FIBROSIS AND GENETIC DISORDERS REVIEW GROUP
TRIALS SEARCH CO-ORDINATOR
Initial salary within the range £16,775 – £21,435
A Trials Search Co-ordinator (Full-time) is required to work for 3
years
initially to undertake the identification and registration of trials
relevant to the above Group.
The Group is based in the Department of Child Health at the
University
of
Liverpool in UK, and is part of the Cochrane Collaboration - an
international network of individuals who develop and maintain
systematic
reviews of the effects of healthcare interventions.
Duties will include regularly updating search strategies for
identification
of randomised controlled trials, manual and electronic medical
literature
searching, co-ordination of journal handsearching, developing and
maintaining specialised registers.
Would suit a computer literate graduate with a health sciences or
librarianship background, who can work methodically and as part of
a
team.
