Yes, I'd like to see all replies that are relevant to the group. Hopefully,
listmembers will use their judgement and summarize when off-list responses
are appropriate.

I too have found this list very educational . It has even been the primary
source of some material I have passed on to others ( the recent debate
about hierarchy of evidence is notworthy). However there is a lot of
traffic, some of which is very specific, some of which is clearly for
general consumption. Can't we make judgements about whether the reply
would be of general or limited interest ? For the former messages are
copied to EBM too ?
