The 4th ICAZ Bird Working Group Meeting will be held in Cracow,
Poland, September 12-15, 2001.
Fifty-seven people expressed their interest in attending the meeting
since the first circular.
The conference will be concerned with all aspects of bird remains in
archaeology: the exploitation of wild and domestic birds, changes in
bird distributions in the prehistoric period, problems of
identification, bone survival and depictions of birds in ancient
arts. Papers and posters are invited. Interested participants are
asked to contact the organizers to be put on the mailing list.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO AND WHEN
1: Contact the organizers by email and book accommodation as soon as
possible.
2: Contact the organizers by email and confirm the title of your
paper as soon as possible.
3: By June 30, send by email your abstract.
4: By June 30 pay the Registration fee and the conference field trip
fee.
5: By September 12 (at the conference) submit your paper to the
proceedings.
6: By April 30 send advance payment for the post-conference Nature
Trip to Bialowieza Primeval Forest and Biebrza Marshes.
