Dear All,
I am urgently looking for a suitable person to take up a
nine month research post on a project entitled "Unusual
perimortem treatment of human and animal remains at Velim
Skalka, CZ."
The post would involve detailed study of butchery
marks and fracture patterns etc. in consideration of the
faunal deposits at a Bronze Age ritual site. The person
would be working alongside a human osteologist. The job
would be based at Exeter, but would involve a period of
time in the Czech Republic.
The person would need to be well trained in
zooarchaeological analysis to at least Masters level and
have a good grounding in archaeology. I would be grateful
if anyone knows of suitable candidates that they let them
know of this opportunity. I can provide details on
request. Interested individuals should send a CV to me (by
e-mail attachment would be good)
