You can use the small volume correction in SPM99 to search a specified
spherical or cubic region around a coordinate or coordinates of interest for
activated voxels. For more complicated ROI shapes the small volume
correction will also search for activation in a predefined image volume, but
this ROI image would need to be created outside SPM (e.g. with MRIcro).
