Dear SPMers,
I have a question regarding covariates that need to be entered into a
model. The task is where a subject reads a sentence presented word by
word and following a delay(100ms or 3100ms), responds to a probe word. If
we are only interested in what is happening at the probe word, does the
sentence need to be modeled as a seperate covariate in the design? If so,
is a box-car function the most appropriate?
Furthermore, there are several conditions for each delay. Comparisons
between different conditions should be OK, provided the delay is the same,
but not between different delays, correct?
thanks for your help,
matt
