i.

appena scagliata fuori da una stanza quadrata
di ocra e marroni sorvolo le auto imbottigliate
nel traffico e reggo a coppa tra le mani
una ciotola di riso come tuffandomi nell' azzurro
tremulo d'un banco oceanico
nel solo interesse dello spirito

la mia faccia è tracciata da un fine reticolato
di linee tratteggiate che mi attorniano gli occhi
le narici la bocca come se qualcuno
fossi in procinto di modificare il tutto
fa niente non m’è mai piaciuto il mio tipo

ii.

il suo pronome è scolpito in un IO Maiuscolo
così da pensare a quello che pensa quando lo desidera
e torreggiare sulla città come un pauroso gigante
che mostra alla folla la cavità del suo stomaco

immaginate ora il suo corpo sparso sulla zona pedonale
dopo la caduta il naso frantumato la faccia sfigurata
gli arti smembrati divenuti bianco gesso
le braccia torte e slogate
le calze color crema lacerate che mostrano
attraverso i grandi buchi ellittici le ginocchia e le cosce frantumate

iii.

ci viene detto che si trattava di un' infermiera
da poco iscrittasi al Partito Comunista
e il cui nome ancora s’ignora

il profilo lasciatoci è quello d'una donna che aveva trascorso
gli ultimi quindici minuti della sua vita con gli occhi fissi su una
ciotola di riso contro lo sfondo insonorizzato d'un banco oceanico.

“Out of a squared chamber”

i.

hurled out of a squared chamber
of ochre and brown I fly over
the cars stuck in the traffic cupping
between my hands a bowl of rice
as though I had
just splashed into the quivering blue
of an oceanic shoal
for the sole sake of my spirit

my face is neatly traced by a fine net
of dotted lines encircling my eyes my nostrils
my mouth as if someone
were to modify the all lot:
never mind I always disliked my kind

ii

her pronoun is fixed in Capital I
so she can think what she thinks when she wants
towering over the town as a scary giant
presenting to the crowd the cavity of her stomach

imagine now her body scattered all over the pedestrian area
after the fall the nose crumbled the face disfigured
the limbs tore apart turned chalky white
the arms twisted and displaced
her creamy stocking all tattered
showing through the big elliptic holes
her cracked knees and thighs

iii

we are told she was a nurse
who had joined the Communist Party
and whose name is still unknown

the profile left to us
is that of a woman who had spent the last fifteen minutes
of her life with her eyes fixed on a bowl of rice
against the soundless background of an oceanic shoal.
