oops that's whose? not who's?
not mine!
komninos
if someone is insensitive/careless enough to refer to me yet not spell my
name correctly then what care have they taken to consider what i have
written, as mak, hlen , douglass and now rurk will attest.
if i have chosen to call myself komninos, after being pressured to spend
most of my life as 'kevin', that is my cultural right.
if someone mis-spells my name i see it as a violation of my rights.
now i admit i am large, but a landscape i am not.
and a real estate agent, certainly not.
is rurk having a go at the fact that i am living at the gold coast, is he
then being 'regionalist', stereotyping all people who live on the gold
coast as real estate agents/developers?
you see one small letter n missing has its own semiotic implications.
but generally people open to me and my ideas don't mis-spell my name, as i
try not to mis-spell other people's names.
