Hi John Jay,
Thanks for clarifying the situation. My apologies for misunderstanding
you. It would be good to hear more about the Carnegie initiative when
you have more time.
Good luck with the funding agencies,
Terry

There has been a slight misunderstanding regarding the authorship of the
Carnegie initiative document. Sorry if I have contributed to this.
The authors of the report are Chris M. Golde & George Walker. It was
passed to me in word(doc) format from administartive sources here on my
campus. I offered the word format availablity simply as a option because
I
have it.
Perhaps I can be of service to the list by making contact with the authors
and attempting to open up a channel of communication, and see what
opportunities exist for the stakeholders on this list to contribute to
the
initiative. (This was Ken's initial suggestion)
That is all I can comment at this time as I am bound for D.C. and a round
with the funding agencies in a hour or so. Next week I will begin
investigating the matter and report back to the group
best,
John Jay Miller
