To members of the OR/MS community with an interest in
forecasting and related issues:
This is a call for papers for an IFS conference in Trinity College Dublin
next June that is sponsored by the Management Science Society of Ireland.
The ISF series is sponsored by the International Institute of Forecasters.
IIF's objectives are to stimulate the generation, distribution, and use of
knowledge on forecasting. The Symposia contribute to this mission by
providing broad based meetings with a mix of theory and practice, and with
applications in diverse areas.
ISF2002 will feature invited Keynote Presentations and contributed papers.
The programme committee invites abstracts of proposed contributions before
15 Feb 2002. Proposals may be made under any topic within the broad field
of forecasting, but authors should note the Special Themes of Finance and
Tourism for ISF2002.
Details, including registration and abstract submission are available on
the Conference Web site www.isf2002.org
