significance of the report of the UKCC Commission for Nursing and Midwifery
Education, chaired by Sir Leonard Peach - Fitness for Practice.

12.30-1.30pm Sandwich lunch
1.30-2pm The partnership site project and the introduction of the new
nursing curriculum, Maggie Spurway, Faculty of Health and Social Care Sciences
at Kingston University and St George's Hospital Medical School
2-2.30pm The English National Board's role in the changes to nurse education,
Noreen Morrin, ENB Representative
2.30-3pm National perspectives on the significance of the Peach Report,
Education Advisor representing the Royal College of Nursing
3-3.30pm Questions, followed by tea/coffee
